Belle Pepper's is a beautifully restored Historic Bed and Breakfast on the banks of the Wallowa River in Joseph, Oregon.

Originally known as the McCully Mansion, the house was built for Frank and Martha McCully in 1915.

Successive owners have each contributed to the preservation of this historic home over the years.

Today, our guests can relax and enjoy the charm, gracious living and warm welcome we offer at Belle Pepper's Bed and Breakfast.

Surrounded by an acre of manicured lawns and gardens sweeping down to the Wallowa River, this idyllic setting perfectly compliments the period charm of this historic home.

Joseph is famous for its for the arts, especially its many galleries and bronze foundries.

We are just a block away from many of these as well as Joseph's fine restaurants and speciality stores.

Invigorating high desert air and mountain vistas complete the scenic spendours of this old High Desert town.

Our three comfortable rooms are named for the three families that have owned and nurtured this home thoughout its 90 year history and all offer picture postcard views of the surrounding Wallowa Mountains, while the grounds offer areas to play or relax.

All rooms have private bathrooms for your comfort and convenience.

Outdoor activities include backpacking, winter sports, hunting and fishing, rafting, boating, hiking, and cross-country skiing. For a more relaxing day, take a trip on the to the top of the EagleCap mountains or rent a boat for an evening on nearby Wallowa Lake.
