About Us:
We are not your typical resort. Nestled in the heart of the Deschutes National Forest amid soaring pines, Suttle Lake Resort provides an enchanted escape.
Our mountain views and pristine lake waters invite you to enjoy everything from outdoor adventures and activity to more leisurely and reflective pursuits.

The Lodge at Suttle Lake Our History:
In the 1920's European settlers established the lake as a favorite spot for outdoor activities such as boating, fishing and family picnics. Suttle Lake was one of only two lake systems in Oregon that supported historic runs of sockeye salmon.
Because of the lake's beautiful forest backdrop, many generations of Oregonians have enjoyed Suttle Lake's splendor, and continue to do so today.
Suttle Lake has undergone many transformations. Always a haven for nature-lovers, the lake has had three lodges built on it, the first in the early twenties, the second in 1931 and the third in 1941. All three lodges were destroyed by fire, the last in 1974 seven days before the newly-remodeled lodge was to opened in 2003 .
The Lodge at Suttle Lake continues to honor our guests with a new refuge that combines the tradition and romance of bygone eras with the comfort and elegance we are able to offer today.

Comfort:
The Lodge at Suttle Lake’s distinctive guest quarters will offer you the utmost in elegant lodging, inviting you to enjoy a gracious and luxurious lifestyle while taking pleasure in our rustic mountain charm. Choose from three Historic Cabins, five Waterfront Cabins, six Rustic Cabins, and eleven Lodge Suites.
Each room in the lodge has been named for a specific Native American symbol signifying the room's character, bringing the Lodge and its guests a sense of history and peace.

Our Lodge's eleven luxurious rooms are as accommodating for a weekend getaway for two, as well as for larger parties, that can book the Lodge exclusively.
