Hiking - Port Orford
Hughes House Trail
From Port Orford, go north on 101 to Cape Blanco Road. Proceed west to Cape Blanco State Park and turn north to Hughes House. 1.3 Miles. Easy. This trail follows the Sixes River to the Pacific Ocean. Spectacular views of Cape Blanco Lighthouse.

Humbug Mountain Trail
Humbug Mountain State Park. 3 Miles. Moderate. Climbs to the top of Humbug Mountain, through groves of old growth trees to spectacular views of the coastline.

Iron Mountain Trail
From Port Orford take 101 north to County Road 208, to Forest Service Road 5325 for 25 miles. 2.7 Miles. Moderate to Difficult. Trail to old lookout site on Iron Mountain. Good views.

North Cape Trail
Cape Blanco State Park. Park at the end of the road. 0.38 Miles. Moderate. Trail drops from headland to ocean shore, providing access to tidepools and beach.

Old Hwy 101 Trail
From Port Orford, go south on 101. Access the trail on the east side of the highway before reaching Humbug Mountain. 2.6 Miles. Easy. Trail follows the old highway, providing great coastal vistas.

Pacific View
Cape Blanco State Park. Trail leaves road north of Horse Camp. 0.46 Miles. Easy. Trail provides great views of Cape Blanco Lighthouse and other coastal views.

South Cape Trail
From Port Orford, go north on 101 to Cape Blanco Road. Proceed west to end of road. 0.75 Miles. Moderate. Trail descends from the headland to its south beach. Access to beach and sea stacks.
