Holmes Sea Cove Bed and Breakfast lies just nine miles north of the California border on the northern edge of Brookings and close to Harris Beach State Park.

Holmes Sea Cove Bed and Breakfast ... ... a place of peace and privacy
|
This turn of the century lumber town has developed into a great base for tourists eager to enjoy all that
the magnificent southern Oregon Coast has to offer.
Full of interesting craft stores, galleries and antique stores, Brookings has much to explore.
Among its many attractions, Brookings is also one of the best places on the coast to go fishing, beachcombing and
exploring the Oregon Coast Trail.
From Holmes Sea Cove Bed and Breakfast a beautiful trail leads you through alders and beautiful red rhododendrons,
salmon berries and ferns to a small park and the beach which is accessible only to homeowners.
At the beach huge black rocks rise out of the waves.
'Turtle Rock' resembles a giant black turtle straining its neck skyward.
'Bird Island', which used to be known as 'Goat Island', used to be the summer home of a herd of goats.
Stop anywhere along this beautiful coastline of soaring headlands, untouched beaches and towering sea stacks
and often you will see Gray Whales on their annual migration from Alaska to Baja.

Just a short drive inland on the Chetco River, Alfred A. Loeb State Park, suffused with the gentle scent
of myrtlewoods, you'll also find the northernmost redwood grove in the U.S. here.

Sometimes you don't know how memorable a place is ... until months after you've left.
This is that kind of place.
