Built by Floyd Frear in 1933 and situated 3 miles northwest of Sutherlin.
The Rochester bridge is unique amongst Oregon's covered bridges in that it features windows having gracefully curving tops.
The Rochester Bridge was remodeled in 1969 when portal boarding, the approaches and the abutments were replaced.
Travel west on Highway 138 from Sutherlin for two miles to Sterns Lane.
Head northwards on Sterns Lane to Rochester Road.
The bridge is just north of the intersection of Sterns Lane and Rochester Road.
